Real Ales, Real Food, Real Pub

The Rumburgh Buck is a 16th century pub set in the village Rumburgh. Rumburgh is situated between the local towns of Halesworth and Bungay off the A144.

With a range of at least 4 Ales on constantly which include Adnams Southwold Bitter and various guest ales from local micro-breweries such as Barrell and Sellers, Wolfe, Shorts farm Brewery, Mauldons, Panther and Buffys providing both cask and bottled refreshment.

We have Carlsberg and Kronenbourg on tap along with Aspall and Strongbow Dark Fruit for lager and cider drinkers and of course a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages for the designated driver.

We have a games room where you will find a pool table, dartboard and a jukebox. This room doubles up as a disco room on certain nights and one of the central rooms is used for live music events. All our events are posted on Facebook so make sure you like and follow our page!

The restaurant here at the Rumburgh Buck spans 6 separate areas. The maximum number that can be seated in one area together is 24, with overall seating throughout the pub and restaurant for around 70 at once not including our recently renewed outdoor area which can easily accommodate 40 people – weather permitting!

Serving local produce as much as possible from establishments such as Palmers in Halesworth and Cleveleys who are just a stones throw away, with salad and veg usually coming from local markets in Beccles and Bungay.

Our Snack Menu and Main Menu offer a vast selection to choose from whether it's ham egg and chips or a simple sandwich to a steak or panfried chicken in barbecue sauce. Take a look at our menus (below) before you visit but don't forget to check our specials board on arrival which is always offering something different.

All of our deserts are home-made apart from the ice cream! Our desserts change regularly so it's likely you won't find the same thing when you visit us again, but something new instead to tantalise your taste buds!

The Buck is a family and Dog friendly establishment. Whilst the flooring throughout is mainly old flag stones brick and tiles which can be uneven in places, we are still able to offer wheelchair access to one of our restaurants, however at present access for wheelchairs cannot be gained to the toilets.
